5G - A Step Towards Smart Ecosystem
This video contains a brief overview of the future of mobile communication i.e 5G. We started with a brief introduction on why do we need 5G? Then we explained the various features of the new radio of 5G. After that we discussed the various technologies that will drive 5G. After that we showed how the new core will accommodate the new upgrades of radio. Then we discussed the various uses cases focusing on how 5g is going to revolutionize our life. And finally we concluded the video by showing how the existing operators can smoothly transition from 4G to 5G.

    Both FDD and TDD require precise timing and it has nothing to do with upstream vs downstream. The LTE frame is very complex, with multiple time slots and all devices have to be synchronized. This is maintained with Precision Time Protocol (PTP) to maintain timing within 1.5 µS. Also, TDD isn't a simple up & down, with guard time as you show. A frame is very complex and often has the uplink and downlink slots right next to each other. It's the precision timing that allows this to happen and the transmitting device actually adjust when it sends a time slot
